It's our second car, now we have two leaf's the same. Leafs are wonderful, so smooth, quiet and powerful. I can't go back to gas cars.

The 40 kw has given us much better range and has great features such as cruise control and lane departure warning that our previous EV didn't have. I'm over the moon with the car

Lovely car to drive with good tech. Perfect for 98% of our driving and we expect to save thousands of dollars each year on petrol even after charging it at home and paying RUC just like we have been doing with our older EV.

Awesome car for the money, made it to Wellington airport from Feilding with plenty of kms to spare. Lots of space for family of 5 with 3 large suitcases and carry on. Would recommend to all families.

We are loving our Leaf! The instant speed is very noticeable and now our petrol car feels slow. We find any excuse to go driving. We love the look and have had numerous comments from people. The battery life has been surprisingly good and we are only charging every 4 to 5 days. The features that it has are also really handy. We purchased a wireless Apple Carplay adapter and that has been a game changer as our phones connect automatically while still in our pockets.

Liked the shape and style of the later Leaf hence going for this one. Good range at over 200km as well which is helpful as we are travelling into town from the country daily.

A great option for those looking for a vehicle (potentially second car) to save money on day to day running around. Feels stylish, awesome to drive, spacious & comfortable for all, great boot space. All in all, v happy with what it delivers for the price.

Need to be aware of monitoring the battery temperature (mainly on long trips) to avoid premature battery degradation. Also, need to make sure you know how to find that info on the dash (and/or via LeafSpy). If you're planning to do many long trips should strongly consider a 62kw Leaf. Get some charger etiquette cards to distribute if you're planing on using fast chargers.

Only been using it for a month but I really recommend this model of Nissan Leaf (40G) if you need to do an average of 100+ kms daily like I do. It’s got a lot of safety features that I wasn’t really looking for but that I really like (I was more concerned about battery range and State of Health of the battery for my budget). I’m enjoying a lot using the Pro Pilot feature as well. I’m amazed at how fast it accelerates from 0 to 100, even with the Eco feature on.
